Healing the Healers will document the journey of several first responders suffering the effects of PTSD as they seek alternative treatment through ketamine assisted therapy. Over the course of this program participants undergo a cathartic and other-worldly journey and this film will seek to bring audiences into close proximity with that experience. By taking viewers through a process that mirrors the psychedelic experience this film will become immersive and impactful in a way that is perfectly suited for its subject matter. An uplifting and cathartic journey from darkness to light ‘Healing the Healers’ will illuminate a new path and consider the possibilities of this novel approach to addressing the mental health epidemic we now find ourselves facing.
