About

Vancouver-based Producers Marc Stephenson and Leah Mallen  head up the production company All In Pictures,  to develop, finance and produce high quality independent content with filmmakers and storytellers that have unique perspectives and great talent. Their combined decades of development, production, distribution and international financing experience over hugely diverse content ensures All In Pictures will see a project through from start to finish, with passion for and knowledge of the industry.

Marc Stephenson executive produced “The F Word (aka “What If”) starring Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan, which he developed from a Vancouver fringe festival play.  Marc also helped produce Canada’s only stop motion feature film, “Edison and Leo”, along with many other independent feature film releases, three of which were winners of the Best Canadian Feature Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival. Marc has extensive experience with visual effects, motion capture and 3D animation.  He has also produced commercial trailers and prototype content, a swell as provided business affairs and production services for several movies of the week and television productions.

Leah Mallen, a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre and who was also selected as one of six producers internationally to attend the Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam,  won Best Short Film at the Cannes International Film Festival’s Critic’s Week for producing “Shoes off!” with director Mark Sawers. Together they collaborated on the feature film “Camera Shy” which went on to win several festivals and Leo Awards in Canada.  She has headed up development and production at several companies while also producing independently, and has produced live action, documentary animation and interactive content for broadcasters and distributors around the world. She sits on the boards of the Crazy8s Film Society (alongside Marc who co-chairs the board), the Vancouver Cinematheque, and Canada’s First Weekend Club.  She is also the co-producer of Vancouver’s inaugural Architecture and Design Film Festival.

Together they are in various stages of financing and development with projects aimed at the kids, tween and adult market including Windy & Friends; stories based on the books for Pre-Schoolers by Judith Steedman and Robin Mitchell Cranfield which together they adapted into a series of iPhone apps which won 2 Kidscreen Awards for two consecutive years, and is now being produced as a 3D animated series alongside Kickstart Entertainment.
